How we approach it
Rendering is decided first. Pages are server-rendered to static HTML wherever possible, which is what makes them fast, crawlable by search engines, and readable by AI assistants that do not execute JavaScript.
Then the budget: every font, image, script and third-party tag has to justify its weight before it ships. That constraint shapes the design rather than arriving after it.
Structured data, metadata, sitemaps and analytics are part of the build, not a follow-up project. Retrofitting search onto a finished site always costs more than including it.

- A page builder ships the code for every layout it could produce, whether you use it or not. That is how a five-page business site ends up loading two megabytes of JavaScript to show a phone number. Hand-built pages ship only what is on them, which is the single biggest lever on how a site feels.
- Can we edit the content ourselves?
- Yes, where you need to. We wire up content management for the parts that genuinely change — posts, case studies, team, prices — and leave the structural pages as code, which keeps them fast and consistent.
- Will the site be fast on mobile?
- That is the requirement, not the hope. Core Web Vitals are treated as a build-time budget and measured against a production build on a throttled mobile profile, because a desktop score on a fast connection tells you almost nothing.
